Honestly — what about Ocean?

We'll say what no other coin's homepage will: Ocean already does transparent, non-custodial, no-KYC payouts — it's huge, proven, and we respect it. We're not chasing the same thing.

KUMP's one real difference: every other pool makes you a customer — KUMP makes you an owner. You earn a stake in the cooperative by the same hash that earns sats, and the operator earns KUMP the same way you do — by hashing. No pre-mine, no team bag, no apex. "Better" is a bet on building it together — not yet a fact, and we won't claim it is.

The honest numbers

This is not a money machine. Here's the real math.

  • Mining at ~$0.15/kWh is break-even at best. A Bitaxe (~1.2 TH/s, ~15W) earns ≈ $0.05/day on a pool — about what it costs in power.
  • Pooling doesn't beat that math — it smooths the variance (a steady small share instead of a lonely lottery). Same expected value, less luck.
  • A block pays 3.125 BTC (~$200k), but the network is ~800 EH/s — a small pod's odds are real but long. We'll publish the exact odds and never inflate them.
  • KUMP's own value is ~$0 until the co-op has traction. Earning it today is a bet on the future, not income. We'd rather say that than sell you a dream.
